Oh man. I probably haven’t seen this video in a decade. (I know I saw it well before YouTube was a thing.)
The fact that most of my seventh grade trumpeters would play circles around this poor girl gives me no comfort...all I’ve ever been able to think when watching this is, “There wasn’t one...ONE person...who listened to her practice, and thought to tell her she wasn’t anywhere near the correct key? Even SHE doesn’t hear it?”

Yeah, pretty hard to believe that made it out of rehearsal. That was a long time ago, though, so there might have been some problem with the backing track playing at a different speed. Kudos to her for playing through it, I guess. She’s either a real trouper, or she’s got a tin ear.

That is definitely a new one to me. LOL.
